     Horseradish is well known for his culinary properties, but has a lot of other special effects as medicine plant with curative properties. Horseradish contains full richness of vitamin C and precious minerals to the body, such as iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium and has antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and aphrodisiac properties, increase immunity and relieve cough.

     Horseradish grows in soils, clay, rich in humus where can gain his great curative properties.

     The horseradish roots are used as powder, syrup, decoctions, juice, or fresh root salad and poultices with great results due to his therapeutic properties, internally and externally in runny noses, coughs, chronic bronchitis and acute asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis, urethral polyps, flu, colds,  slow digestion, gastritis, adults and children anemia, loss of appetite, rheumatism, gout, sinusitis, rhinitis, lung congestion, rheumatic pain, periodontitis, facial paralysis, withered, maintaining skin youthful and peeling skin.

     In folk medicine, horseradish is considered a good cure at all: whooping and dry cough, thrush, spots, twinges, neuralgia, tonsillitis and sinusitis. If is used as jelly horseradish will easily calming whooping and dry cough. For thrush a horseradish gargle will have an almost instant effect over the aphthous stomatitis, while used as compresses or poultice, horseradish will remove face spots.

     Horseradish poultice in combination with a few water drops can be a benefic treatment for twinges, while for neuralgia will be used in combination with brown sugar for a great effect.

     In combination with red beet have powerful effects against anemia.

     However, horseradish root improves blood circulation, cardiac tonic, thin the blood and blood pressure normalization, is a good laxative or purgative, expectorant and have an decongestant effect on upper airways, invigorating the state of debility, plays an important role in the physiology of the nervous system to induce a sense of well being, satisfaction, pleasure, relaxation and has exciting action as renal diuretic.
