The black poplar is a majestic tree that can be found in Europe and parts of Asia. The tree and its healer buds have not only been mentioned but highly praised in the ancient Greek writings. Old English physicians also described the important medicinal properties of the black poplar leaf buds and modern science proved them right. These buds contain a form of salicin, a natural precursor of the modern aspirin as we know it from the pharmacy.
